Director Ethan Treat

As the founder and director of the Regis College Swim Clinic, Ethan Treat has designed the Streamline Swim Clinic to enhance the stroke technique of young swimmers.  For the past seven years Ethan has held several positions at various swim camps where he learned and improved upon several new techniques to help young swimmers enhance their stroke technique.  Ethan is also in his second season as the Regis College assistant swim coach.

Before Ethan’s coaching career he attended Amherst College where he swam for four seasons and captained the team his senior year. Ethan qualified for the NCAA national championships each season in the 200 and 400 IM's and the 200 Fly. He was a three time NCAA top-three finisher and earned seven All-American Awards during his career at Amherst College.  At the conference level, Ethan was the NESCAC (New England Small Conference Athletic Conference) champion five times, and he set conference records in the 200 and 400 IM's as well as the 200 Fly.

A native of Newton MA, Ethan’s swimming career started with the Newton Swim Team where he still holds several records.  Ethan graduated from Newton North after earning five team records, four State Championship titles, two Boston Globe All Scholastic Awards, and the Boston Globe Swimmer of the Year Award.
